Let the Kids Enjoy Golf in Competition with other Kids

LBGLC JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM

Our professional work ethics working for the kids

"Introduction to Kids Golf Tournament Competition" is a relaxed, fun way to help kids develop their competitive skills on the golf course with others of the same playing ability. Our Junior Golf Program will teach the kids honesty, integrity, responsibility, perseverance and confidence which will carry onto their adult lives. Our juniors will also be learning the important rules and etiquette associated with the game of golf and make some great friends in the process.

Our Junior Golf Program, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and was established for the purpose of providing today's youth with an opportunity to experience the game of golf and enjoy a competitive experience while playing in our tournaments at an affordable price.

The Junior Golf Program is herewith searching for some sponsors that would like to assist our association in making it more affordable for our community kids to have a chance to enjoy the game of golf in a competitive atmosphere.

On May 1st, 2009, the Junior Golf Program accepted the assistance of our first and second major sponsors, Mr. Mike McMonegal, with Los Angeles County Junior Golf Program and Mr. Eric Campbell, with Seismic Imaging Solutions Company. Our Junior Golf Program is now operating at the practice facility at the Links at Victoria Golf Course.

We have now accepted our newest sponsor, the Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists, the MAES Long Beach Professional Chapter with their assistance in the new introduction of outreach tutoring, engineering projects and science extravaganzas that will assist our young kids spark and interest in the engineering and science among our younger students.

Forty seven (47) members have already received their PLGA handicap index cards and will soon be inputting their scores as they play golf in our tournaments or enjoying golf with their parents or friends.
